The Beauty of Clear Glass Tile

I have a friend who is an interior designer and I decide to tag along with her in one of her appointments with one of her clients. Her client was having a major house renovation and their agenda for that day was the kitchen design.

Her client was a middle-aged woman, a professional yoga instructor. She was bubbly and easy to get along with, and moves gracefully, even when cooking lunch or washing the dishes. After eating, she discussed what she wanted for her kitchen. She was interested in using clear glass tile, the kind that produces lustrous, rainbow colors. She wanted her house to be sunny and bright, and the kitchen was no exception. Besides, it perfectly suited her personality to a tee.

My friend agreed that it was a good choice since glass tiles are impervious to water, heat resistant and thaw resistant. Plus, their colors will not fade. She gave her client three types of pretty iridescent glass tile brands that she could choose from – the Hakatai Tivoli Series, Oceanside Tessera Incense Mosaic Pattern, and Lightstream Gold Iridescent Collection in Amber. According to her, the best thing that her client can do is to order some tile samples so she could compare the quality, luster, durability and prices.

After that appointment, I was already thinking of using clear glass tiles for my own kitchen.
