The Big Green Egg Dallas TX

When I first heard about the big green egg Dallas TX from my former colleague who was finishing her PhD in the University of Texas at Dallas, I joked “So you found a dinosaur egg in Dallas? I thought they were extinct.” After rolling her eyes at how corny and silly I was, she led me to their backyard and showed me the “big green egg.” It was actually a grill that she brought home from Texas. We were holding a barbecue together with our other college friends and she said that we could use the egg for grilling burgers, hotdogs, pork chops and the other stuff that we would serve at the party.
She showed me how to use it, and I saw how advantageous it was compared to the traditional grill that we have (that we even have to use an electric fan to keep the charcoal burning). It is easy to light, fuel efficient so there is no need to add charcoal, and is equipped with ceramic walls which effectively control temperature.
Our burgers, steaks, and pork chops were perfectly done during the barbeque party, which was a surprise because we weren’t exactly the greatest barbeque cooks in the world. We managed to burn a burger or two during our past parties. I’ve got to give the grill with a silly name two thumbs up.
