Natural looking make-up during the day gives dewy, fresh and flawless complexion if done right. The key factor to achieve the natural look is blending. When learning how to apply make up, you must start with a clean and moisturized face. Make-up is easier to blend on moisturized skin, and flaking would be avoided. Cover dark circles under your eyes by dabbing and blending with a concealer. Use your ring finger, which has the least amount of pressure since the area around the eyes is delicate. Next, apply either a mineral foundation or a tinted moisturizer on your face and neck. I personally use tinted moisturizer because it gives a sheer, natural look.

Make sure that the areas around your eyebrows are clean and free of stray hairs, to give you a polished, well-groomed appearance. Use an eyebrow three shades lighter than your hair color. Apply liquid eyeliner on the top part of your eyelids. Curl your lashes and apply waterproof mascara to hold the curls. To achieve a natural-looking blush, locate the apple of your cheeks by smiling. Apply blush on the cheeks and on the jaw line, and a little on the forehead. Use just the right amount and color of blush depending on your skin tone. Applying too much would give you a clownish look. Finally, apply a lipstick that complements your skin tone, features and your outfit. Apply a bit of natural lip gloss to add a touch of shine.
